The bike still had not sold. There was a reason for it, called, its curse. Many years ago when the motor scooter was new, it had been involved in a plank, that had turn into a horrible accident. The owner of the scooter had died a horrible death, many say she shouldn't have, Since then everyone who has owned it has died, or at least had something horrific happen to them.
The latest victim, a 30 something year old hippie wanna be, had just been killed in a wreak that should have destroyed the bike, but miraculously it came through unscratched, one couldn't say the same for the owner. They literally picked up pieces of him from all over the road. By now the reputation of the Italian motor scooter had spread far and wide. No one wanted any part of it. It sat in the field rotting in the weather for 10 years after the last incident.
Then one spring some kids found it tangled up in a mass of overgrown thickets, drug it out. They thought it looked cool with the step through front and large cowl and windshield. They looked it over and one figured out how it should start, They didn't really expect that it would. But it did. The bike of death roared back to life like nothing had ever happened , and it hadn't sitting in a open field all those 10 years. The kids spent the afternoon driving it around the field. suddenly it seemed to take up a mind of its own. First it ran down one boy, then did a 180 and crashed into the one behind it, Finely it took off headed over the field headed for the house with the terrified rider aboard trying best to either stop it, or get off. the brakes wouldn't work, and he felt like he was glued to the seat and handlebars. The bike stopped short, throwing him into the well. It leaned itself up against the sign that said motor scooter for sale. And waited patiently .
