He was sitting on a park bench reading a newspaper. Oblivious to his surroundings .
As he read, the day wore on, how many times can one read the same words? The thoughts kept running through his mind as he stared at the paper without seeing it anymore. I always thought I’d see you one more time.But that was not to be. The fire and rain had seen to that. The plane had crashed last night. The news is in the headlines all over the world. But its is his world that has truly burned up in that fire last night.
Slowly, after many hours of sitting in the same spot, on the same park bench , he got up and folded the paper neatly, as always did everything and returned to his apartment. He finally breathed again, his world had burned up last night, now it's time to build a new one.Towards that end, He burned the clothes he was wearing last night in the fire and rain.
As he was finishing there was knock at the door. He hurried to answer it, Wondering who would call at this time of evening, as it was now late evening, and he’d spent the better part of the day on the park bench. Opening it revealed a detective. The detective expressed condolence for his loss. Then asked to the rest of the apartment. He let them look around.
Finally the detective said you're under arrest for the murder of your wife and the other passengers aboard the plane last night.
